After almost 20 years in the food and wine industry, I'm ready to bring my experiences and knowledge straight to you. 

As an accomplished Chef and Sommelier, I’ve had the opportunity to work with talented people who have helped shape my appreciation and knowledge of food and wine. And now I'm ready to share what I've learned with you.  From Michelin star restaurants to your local wine bar, I’m here to make the most out of your food and wine experiences. 

I customize my virtual classes to fit your needs. From wine tasting, mastering your favorite gourmet dish, or throwing the perfect dinner party, I’ll provide a fresh perspective, a little history, and share a lot of laughs in the process.

Prices depend on the number of participants, length of class, and content. 
Classes are generally between 1 and 30 people and are an hour long. Looking for a class for more people or a different length? Let's talk!

About Me

A Bear in the Cellar

After earning my BA in history from UC Berkeley, I decided to follow my passion and try my hand in the restaurant industry. With no experience (not even my own knives), I walked into one of the best restaurants in San Francisco and walked out the newest member of the kitchen staff. 

For almost 20 years later I’ve worked with some of the world’s most renowned chefs, in some of San Francisco’s most beloved institutions. In 2007 I became a Sommelier, solidifying my love for a good meal paired with the perfect glass.  And now I’m ready to share my life's work with you.
